The GM50 is a high-speed electric gripper designed to handle lightweight objects at maximum speed. The gripper jaws are controlled by multifunctional LinMot servo drives, allowing custom motion characteristics to be freely and flexibly programmed.
This enables gripping operations with very high speed, precise positioning, and accurate force control. Product changeovers can be performed without major mechanical modifications, and gripping force can be adjusted with a single parameter.
GM50 linear grippers offer opening and closing times of less than 20 ms. Despite high speeds, smooth gripping is achieved through flexible motion profiles. In the event of a power failure, a locking function ensures safe holding. Since they are driven by LinMot drives, they are compatible with all fieldbus communication systems.
