Thanks to the serial arrangement of linear and rotary motors, PR01 linear rotary motors enable extremely compact solutions within a very small footprint.
Depending on the application, these linear rotary drive systems can be designed with MagSpring weight balancing and gearbox reducers, and can also be equipped with various additional hardware options.
They can provide continuous rotary motion and, with the integrated single-turn encoder, always know the exact rotary position. During operation, linear force control and rotary torque control are measured, controlled, and can be independently limited.
For more precise linear force and torque measurements, PR01 motors can be equipped with optional force sensors, torque sensors, and additional MagSpring options.
PR01 linear rotary motors offer stroke lengths up to 300 mm and can reach up to 8.9 Nm of rotary torque. With maximum speeds of 1500 rpm and linear peak forces up to 1024 N, they easily perform rotary applications combined with strong linear pressing forces.
With optional gearbox configurations, depending on gear ratios, they can deliver high rotary torque for demanding rotation and tightening applications.
With the optional hollow shaft design, pneumatic grippers can be easily mounted at the shaft end, allowing air channels to pass through the shaft. Combined with a stainless steel front protection, they can be reliably used even in demanding chemical capping applications.
