The GM51 also features an integrated rotary motor with unlimited, continuous rotation capability. This makes the parallel gripper especially suitable for applications requiring gripping, dynamic positioning, assembly, and screwing, while enabling highly precise angular positioning thanks to the accuracy of its absolute encoder. Since the linear position of the gripper jaws is monitored via linear motor encoders, the need for external sensors and additional cabling is completely eliminated.
GM51 linear rotary grippers offer opening and closing times of less than 20 ms. Despite high speeds, smooth gripping is achieved through flexible motion profiles. In the event of a power failure, a locking function ensures safe holding. Since they are driven by LinMot drives, they are compatible with all fieldbus communication systems. The rotary axis is equipped with an absolute encoder, ensuring highly precise angular positioning. Both axes are controlled independently via LinMot drives.
